Hi, I’m Jacqui
I’m a business leader and communication specialist. My company, The Pathway Communication Company Limited, works with businesses to transform their internal communications.
I’m passionate about seeing how companies transform when they start communicating better with their employees.
I have had a long and varied career in corporate companies in the industrial, manufacturing and engineering space. I began as a Control Engineer at college at age 16 and then was the first female apprentice in Philips in the UK.
My career has included internal and field sales, in the UK and USA and I have managed sales teams and IT help desks for Cegelec and Eurotherm/Invensys.
Joining Festo in 2001 as a Product Manager I quickly became a part of the marketing and training teams in Festo’s HQ in Germany, being asked to lead and develop sales training for new product releases and being a part of the successful release of revolutionary new products. This experience fired my enthusiasm for what good communication looks like. In sales and marketing this has long been accepted, but I started to look at communication internally in a company too.
Training as a business coach, facilitating and being a part of successful multi-national teams helped me to experience first hand how good and bad communication can have a massive effect.
Using a company’s goals and strategy to communicate with the employees was something I experienced as an employee. Then, working with the MD, we developed the concept further and saw it implemented throughout Festo worldwide. It worked so well and had such amazing results that we decided to take the concept and introduce it to other companies. We started working with owners of companies and their boards to transform communications, seeing employee engagement, retention and company morale increase.
Leaving Festo I set up The Pathway Communication Company Ltd and continue to work with companies, executives and management teams to improve their internal communications.
I decided to train as a business coach, so many of the skills used in coaching help me when working with Senior Leaders – after all, it is all about good communication, listening and asking great questions. Training with Creative Results Management I am now an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation and have also done some training with the Association of Business Mentors.
As a woman in engineering, I am passionate about engineering as a career and have spoken at many events including at the University of Northampton and am a STEM ambassador.
Outside of work, I am Chair of Trustees of a charity and on the leadership team at my church, Harrowby Lane Methodist Church in Grantham. I value integrity and like to work with people I can trust.
Through my belief in continuous improvement and commitment to personal development, I have completed and implemented numerous work-based training courses in sales training, DiSC® behaviour styles, individual and team coaching. I am an Associate Credited Coach with the International Coach Federation and a licenced trainer with E3-LDV Leadership Development.
It’s not just me 😊
I work with a number of associates to ensure that the work we do is of the highest quality and is developed and delivered by a range of people.
Gary Wyles is the owner of E3-LDV.
Gary started Jacqui on her coaching and strategy journeys, he was the one to introduce Jacqui to both when she worked for him whilst he was the MD of Festo Ltd.
After he left Festo Jacqui worked with him around the world as they trained large corporate businesses in coaching and leadership. In recent years they have travelled to South East Asia, Europe and the United States of America.
Gary now licences his training content and methods to selected trainers and companies and Jacqui is thrilled to have been accepted as a licenced user and uses the E3-LDV’s training as the basis of her coaching and leadership training.
