How introducing a Coaching Culture can transform your business
In this fast-paced world, change is the only constant. From external factors like covid, increased competition, and the discussion about hybrid working, to internal needs such as company growth, exploring new markets, and redefining strategies – adaptability is the key to success.
In this dynamic landscape, managers need to not just be leaders; they need to be coaches who empower their team members to unlock their true potential. Coaching is no longer considered an optional add-on; it is now an absolute necessity for thriving in the corporate world.
“Jacqui has just led our management team through a ‘getting started with coaching’ course. She has been really excellent – the course materials and way that she delivered them have been excellent and we have really benefited from the training. I have particularly appreciated the way in which each session has lots of practical pointers about how to embed the techniques in our business so that the learning is useful and applicable rather than abstract! I highly recommend Jacqui.”

Imagine having employees who are empowered to make their own decisions. Who love working for you because you trust them to do the right thing. Who feel that they can get on with their jobs without needing to ask you questions all the time. Who come to you not just with questions but with solutions too.
And now imagine being the manager of those people, having more time to do your own work and to do the important things rather than just the urgent.
Embrace change to stay relevant
As new technologies and trends emerge, your skills stay relevant for less and less time. Adaptability is a lifeline for both companies and managers. Embracing change is not just about survival; it’s about thriving and staying ahead of the curve. In today’s ever-changing job market, staying stagnant means moving backwards. The only way to stay relevant and future-ready is by continuously evolving and upskilling. By creating a coaching culture in your team you empower them, they will then bring their ideas and as a team, you can move forward, adapt and thrive.
At The Pathway Communication Company, we enable that culture. We teach your managers to coach their team, enabling them to move from being a manager to a leader and developer of the team. The skills you learn on our course will ensure you can listen, ask amazing questions and ensure that your team member sets and takes on actions to move them (and your goals) forward. And as their skills develop this will save them valuable time.
With both online and face-to-face courses, our standard Getting Started in Coaching course or a course tailored to your needs, can help you introduce coaching as a core tool throughout your organisation.
Who should be trained?
Of course, your managers need to be trained to ensure they benefit from coaching their staff. And by training them they will start to expect coaching – from you!
We always recommend that the owner/MD/ CEO of the business sets the example and is part of the first training course along with their management team. Coaching works best in an organisation when the senior management team coaches first and then the rest of the management team is trained too.
We have even then run an ‘introduction to coaching’ session for all employees. The more everyone understands the goals of coaching – that you want to empower your team and enable change by ensuring they bring their ideas – the faster the effects are felt, and the business flourishes.
